Januzaj est un 10 de formation... Combien de joueur ont commencé à certains poste pour au final finir dans une autre position ? Beaucoup trop. Januzaj est surement un grand 10 en reserve, mais avec le groupe pro, ni Moyes, ni Van Gaal, ni Wilmots ne le font jouer dans cette position.

On verra, je le vois pas percer en 10 dans un top club, mais comme De Bruyne il peut jouer dans sa position "privilegié" d'un un club moins huppé.

Quand les joueurs avaient le ballon, ils cherchaient tous le temps Januzaj. Dès qu'il y avait une action offensive ça passait par lui, par ce que ses coéquipiers lui faisait confiance.

Voilá pourquoi il a porté l'équipe sur 27 matchs,c'était le détonateur de l'équipe, le jeu basculait le 3/4 du temps de son côté..je ne parlerai pas de la fin ou Moyes l'a grillé betement en l'alignant systématiquement et en lui demandant de centrer 11 fois sur 10

ha il n'y a pas de mot pour le décrire. Je l'ai pas connu aussi longtemps que certains ici mais malgré il m'a fait fort impression. Un peu borné comme mec mais tu ne peux que l'apprécier.

Parait il que se faire bannir est sa discipline favorite

Pas le plus en vue mais son match était très propre, il n'a pas perdu beaucoup de ballons et marque le troisième de manière assez subtile, comme à son habitude.

Son entente avec Herrera était moins évidente que contre Villa mais on aura encore une fois vu de bonnes séquences entre les deux.

 

Bref, un vrai top-player ce Juanito!

Hi everyone,

 

As I write this I’m still full of adrenaline after our win in the derby. Beating your Manchester rival and, on top of that, being able to score in front of your crowd is a truly amazing feeling, especially because we stretch our good moment and we keep adding points.

 

I may sound repetitive but once again I have to say that the best part is the incredible atmosphere that Old Trafford generates. I have to admit that it was arguably the game with the best atmosphere at home since I arrived to United, and I realised that already during the warm-up… It was a special game, we had had several consecutive defeats against City and both the fans and the players felt it was time to change that streak. It’s not easy to explain with words what you feel on the pitch, but the thrill of a comeback in a derby is something I will never forget.

 

The result was amazing, although it is true that things were looking bad at the beginning… They had a strong start, played great football in the first few minutes and managed to score first, but our team showed character and soon afterwards we were able to come back, which confirms that this team does not give up easily. We have plenty of confidence in ourselves, that’s something you can tell in both the good and the bad moments. Ashley was decisive to tie the score and also in our second goal, and after that we could control the game and add up three more points that are very important to reach our goal. Perhaps the most remarkable thing, once again, was the character and personality shown by the team after a bad start of the game.

 

From this Monday we are already thinking about our next ‘final’, a visit to the leader of the Premiership. Needless to say that it’s going to be a very special game for me. I already played against Chelsea in the first half of the championship, but going back to Stamford Bridge for the first time will bring me plenty of good memories, for sure. The day I arrived to this great club I wrote: “Gratitude is the memory of the heart”. And I keep thinking the same. At that time I had the chance to thank everybody who helped me in London during those two and a half years, and next Saturday it will be nice to meet former team-mates, fans and friends. I keep good memories of them and I wish them the best. Obviously, our intention is to get the three points again and we will try from the kick-off until the final whistle. The best thing is that we get to this game in a very good moment, with confidence, but we are aware that we must perform at our best level if we want to beat Chelsea.

 

On Saturday, at the pre-match hotel, I watched la Liga games. The Spanish championship gets tight again after Barça’s draw against Sevilla and Real Madrid’s victory versus Eibar. Luis Enrique’s team played very good for the first 30 minutes, but when you are facing such rival as Sevilla you never know. They have one of the toughest stadiums in Europe, Barça could tell last Saturday. As I said in previous weeks I expect a very close race for the title. Let’s see what happens…

 

Other than that I have to highlight Chory Castro’s superb goal with Real Sociedad against Deportivo. It reminded me of a very famous one from Van Basten in the Eurocup final….

 

I also want to congratulate Marc Márquez for his victory in MotoGP, he is a phenomenon!

I feel proud

 

Hi everyone,

 

Today, as the title above says, I feel proud. I’m going to tell you why, but as you can imagine this has been a special weekend for me.

When we were leaving Stamford Bridge, to catch the train and go back to Manchester, I had mixed feelings. I was angry about the defeat, I was thrilled after seeing some old friends, but especially I was proud. Mainly for two reasons that I’m going to explain now… I felt proud of the game the team had played, keeping the ball possession, controlling the game and creating chances to score, and all this at Stamford Bridge against the leader… As our manager said after the game, we were loyal to our football idea, and despite the score didn’t show that, if we keep playing like this there will be many more wins than defeats, I’m pretty sure of that. Besides, the team showed personality by playing that way against such a tough opponent, who gave no space in their half of the pitch and defended with so many players. Obviously, we also made some mistakes we have to learn from in the future. But overall that was my feeling about the game we had played: pride.

The other reason, as you can imagine, is about the reception I was given from the Chelsea fans. It was really moving to feel the people’s respect and affection, and I will always be grateful for that… To them and also to the players. I thank them for such affection and I congratulate them for the title they are about to win, because it’s almost done… It was nice to meet them and chat with them after the game, and also the club’s staff, doctors, physios, etc., and feel their respect and friendship. Thanks to all and congratulations.

 

We know we have five finals ahead and we will try to win each of them to get to our goal. The first one is away against Everton, not an easy stadium. The last time we played against them we struggled a lot to win, but we will try to get the three points again.

 

On Saturday, since we were playing, I missed the main games in la Liga. The first three teams won. That includes Barcelona, who faced Valencia, a side that gave a lot of trouble to Barça in their previous game between the two and had won at the Camp Nou last season. Barcelona won three vital points to remain in the top spot because Real Madrid keep close behind despite the injuries of Bale and Modric, who may miss the next few games. By the way, I want to send a message of support to my team-mate in the Spanish national team David Silva after his worrying injury, when he was given oxygen and left the pitch on a stretcher. I hope he is fine and back to the football pitch as soon as possible. I think his cheekbone is not broken, so it all seems to be a contusion and a big scare.

 

I finished my Sunday watching some motor highlights, like Hamilton’s great win in Formula 1. Sadly, none of the Spanish drivers got points. In the motorcycling Grand Prix it happened the opposite way: the Spaniards were fantastic, as always, and Valentino Rossi celebrated his victory wearing a Maradona shirt on the podium. I’ve always thought this Italian guy is a genius…

Mata le génie créatif était où cet aprem? Parce que moi je l'ai pas vu du tout et surtout pas depuis qu'il est à Old Trafford, car il n'y a jamais posé ses valises ce Mata là. Il est resté à Stamford Bridge. Il produit quelques étincelles pendant certains matchs puis il disparait tel un fantôme après, faudra m'expliquer franchement pourquoi il a été préféré à Kagawa mais bon ça c'est un autre débat. Bizarre quand même que personne ne parle de son match car c'est l'un des trois joueurs les plus mauvais avec Valencia et Blind. Il doit refaire un tour sur le banc. Les matchs physiques comme ça avec beaucoup d'intensité et d'agressivité de l'adversaire ne le convient pas.

C'est vrai qu'il a été beaucoup trop lent dans ses transmissions et a jamais cherché à prendre de risque. Toujours à chercher le renversement opposé alors qu'il y'avait mieux à faire dans l'axe sur quelques actions.

 

Bon après, comme je l'ai dit sur le topic de LVG, faut pas tout remettre en question. Il fait parti des joueurs importants depuis plusieurs semaines et a été décisif à de nombreuses reprises. Un mauvais match ça arrive, même si aujourd'hui c'est le deuxième consécutif. Mais c'est un peu toute l'équipe qui est médiocre depuis deux semaines. Rares sont les éléments qui ont été au-dessus de la mêlée.
