Man Utd battling to keep Queiroz, Ronaldo

Manchester United are battling to hang onto Carlos Queiroz - which could lead to Cristiano Ronaldo also quitting Old Trafford, it has been revealed.
The Daily Star says Sir Alex Ferguson's right-hand man is on the point of quitting United to coach the Portuguese national team.
And that, according to sources in Lisbon, could be the catalyst that sends Portugal star Ronaldo to Real Madrid.
Queiroz, Fergie's trusted No.2, is disillusioned because he hasn't been assured he will succeed Ferguson as United manager.
A sticking point, and potential plus for United, is that Portugal have not offered Queiroz as good a contract as Scolari.
One move that would make Queiroz turn his back on his country is an assurance from chief executive David Gill that he will become United's next manager.
